You know how in the cartoons all the cute but furious rotund bees or wasps have round bottoms and pointy stingy tales and do the wiggle dance?
Well that’s the image I have in my head, lots of comic buzz buzz blogger bee’s all doing the wiggle dance and aiming their stingers ready to fire at those who would try to steal from or attack them – now in the cartoons its usually the honey someone is trying to steal, or its flowers they are trying to pick which the bees are sitting on, or if its wasps its usually the wasps nest someone is trying to remove! see where I am going with this one and why it seems to fit so well??
Yep well the honey equates to the word (your word is like honey to my lips!) and in this instance the words equate to the freedom of speech and the right to comment!
The flowers, well that’s our individual blogs and websites that some people try to pick on or pick off – use whichever one fits for you, though both might be apt!
The wasp nest, well that’s the blogosphere of course – the hive community in which we all reside, humming along and working away, and yes again someone is trying to knock it down and dismantle it – well bits of it.
Of course we are the bee’s and the wasps, normally quite content just to get on with our blogging, but yes we have stings in our tails and when we are riled up we fire, we show our hive mentality and work together as the collective to protect the habitat and each other.
And today – well today the wiggle dance (the loosely termed Walker Wiggle Dance in honour of the blogger bee first SLAPPed) moved on a step and the first stinger was fired straight and true (yes we had all been doing our collective thing and following the leaders advice – thanks Matt!) but today the wiggle dance turned into a haka with Elizaphanian leading the dance.

[...] Squiggle Jones, And Jesus Wept and Philips Tree House all log their support, with the latter questioning Mark Brewers assertion that he is merely a private citizen. The Journey Home is not just Dave Walker, but Sam Norton as well, and so is his wife. Get your head round that one. Jonathan Evens seems to be trying the same trick. Perhaps this is psychological warfare? [...]
